    Original Mortens Studio Jersey Cow
    (1950s)
    This is a rare and detailed 1950s Mortens Studio Jersey Cow in beautiful condition.
    Mortens Studio figurines are made of hand painted porcelain over a metal core and frequently have loss of ceramic and cracks in the ceramic elsewhere.
    This cow is in very good condition!  There are no chips.   There is light crazing across the forehead and behind the poll and slight paint loss on the inner edge of the left ear and outer ear edges.  Otherwise, she is well preserved with great color and glossy finish.  Horns, udders, and tail are intact.  She stands 5 1/4 inches tall and 8 inches long.  She weighs 1 1/2 pounds.  The Mortens Studio stamp is on the belly.
